HOW TO REACH US?

You can reach Altınoluk from Istanbul on
Bursa-Balıkesir-Havran-Edremit route. But as well as this route, you can prefer
Tekirdağ-Çanakkale route too. This way has a very beautiful view, less traffic
and is approximetly 450 km.

When you use the highway between Istanbul and Kınalı, you
will first come to Keşan from Tekirdağ and then reach Gallipoli. From this point,
you can use ferries to Lapseki or from Eceabat to Çanakkale on every main hour.
Altınoluk will welcome you when you travel to Gulf of Edremit from Troy.

If you prefer to go the same way by bus Pamukkale, Uludağ, Kamil
Koç, Akçay and Metro Tourism are the travel agencies. There are shuttles from
Altınoluk to Edremit and Asssos. |
Besides, in summer you can have the opportunity to join
touristic tours to historical places like Ayvalık, Bergama (ancient Pergamum), Troy, Assos and Babakale. In order to
reach Ida Mountains, it is better to travel with a vehicle like jeep. If you
want to go to Şahinderesi Canyon you will turn your back to the sea and go to the Altınoluk center. There is the Municipality
building in the entry of Altınoluk center and there is a street across the building. When you follow
that street you will come to Kocaçay road and Değirmen site. After 1 km. you
can park your car under the shade of olive trees.
1st route:
İstanbul - Bursa - Balıkesir
- Edremit - Altınoluk
2nd route:
İstanbul - Keşan - Gelibolu -
Çanakkale - Altınoluk
3rd route: İstanbul - (Feribotla) Bandırma
- Balıkesir - Edremit - Altınoluk
